panorama 1

My first panorama. Stitched out of 7 shots taken from up above the port of Barcelona. I know i need more practice, the exposures are all off! Next time manual mode! The cloneing together of the shots could be better, but there is a lot of detail so it is hard. The distortion from at 22mm on the canon 10-22mm lens is still fairly pronounced so only a narrow middle section of each shot is useful - I didn't have enough so the result is poor, look at the wonky horrizon! So more shots and a tripod next time. It was hot, about 35degC on this day so I didn't want to lug my tripod all the way up the hill!
Here is a non cloned version:

A place to sit and ponder

Another photo from Felixstowe. As is traditional with the british bank holiday trip to the seaside the weather was terrible and the accomodation horrific. It is not, I must say, the nicest of places but the usual pleasant villages and hamlets of East Anglia are near by, including Woodbridge.
Anyway. I am 23 years old in 26 days time and want to post an image every day this month. This may be tricky since I am on holiday towards the end, so expect lots of Barcelona shots going forward.
f/16, 1/20, iso 320, apparently some exposure bias but I don't remember that.
